Brittany Murphy

We've all heard by now that the beloved Clueless actress, Brittany Murphy, passed away yesterday. This is absolutely insane and so very tragic. It's always tragic when someone so young dies, but when it's presumed that it was from natural causes, it makes it that much worse. There is no reason that someone under the age of 60 should die from natural causes.
I know I haven't posted in a while, not that anyone reads my blog or even cares, but I'm going to be more diligent in posting on here, no matter how lame Jenelle thinks it is (I should be in the clear as long as I don't start talking about random pictures of junk in my sister's room). I felt compelled to write today, in light of the tragic news.
Brittany Murphy is one of my favorite actresses, even though a lot of people think she's not that great. There aren't many actresses as versatile as her. Who else can go from playing a ditz (Clueless) to a coke head (Spun)? And actually pull it off?
Some of her most memorable roles were in Girl, Interrupted, which was an amazing movie; and Don't Say A Word, another brilliant film.
Being a lover of Indie films, my favorite movie with her would have to be Spun. This movie was amazing and Brittany Murphy did an awesome job in it. However, it's not a movie you can sit down and watch with your mom and little sister. The plot may turn some people off, but if you can get past it, then you'll love this movie too. I urge you to check out the trailer and go buy the movie. It's pretty hard to find, but not impossible. You might be able to find it on the website for the movie.

Today started off rather slow. It seemed to drag on for days. I'm finally done with everything that absolutely needs to be done at the moment. I took advantage of the awesome FBR sale. 50% off on most stuff!! I heard some awesome music news today. Weezer and Paramore will be headlining Bamboolze this year! If only I lived on the east coast. I'm actually contemplating buying plane tickets for a friend and me and flying to Jersey just for the show.

On a more solemn note, Scary Kids Scaring Kids officially broke up today. They will be doing their final tour, starting in January.
